Christina Katidou was born in Thessaloniki. During her studies at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, she received her Diploma in Piano (class of Nikos Tasopoulos), Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue and Orchestration. She has also studied flute for several years.
She has attended numerous seminars of piano in Greece and abroad with prominent artists such as Bernand Ringeissen, Nikolai Petrov, George Hadjinikos, Rudolf Meister, Domna Evnouhidou etc., chamber music with Spyros Mourikis and Dissonart ensemble, composition with Michalis Travlos and David Blake.
Christina Katidou is mainly interested in contemporary music and has performed in several piano solo recitals and chamber music concerts and often performs with the flutist Evi Nakou introducing contemporary music.
She is working as a musician for several years and studies Composition at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki (class of Kostas Siempis). At the same time, she studies at the Music Department of the School of Fine arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is also a graduate of the Department of Agriculture of the AUTH and holds a Master of Science in the fields of Genetic Engineering of the same Department.
